Mom's Beginner Favorite

  

  • Mom's Green Smoothie
  • 1 cup pureed Mango  
  • 1 whole organic Lemon (seed & skin)or 6 drops lemon essential oil
  • 2-3 cups Spinach
  • 1 cup frozen Pineapple
For additional Protein and Nutrition:

  • Place mango puree, lemon and spinach into blender and run on High speed for 30 - 50 seconds. Add frozen pineapple and blend for another 60 seconds or until smooth. Yields 1 quart.
RECIPE UPDATE:  As my taste buds changed I was able to use filtered water instead of pureed mango and I use more bitter greens which helps to add variety and nutrient density. 

Using GSGLife's organic, gluten-free, whey-free and soy-free, protein powders I am now adding more nutrition to this recipe and turning my green smoothie into a complete meal!
